（美國）第83屆奧斯卡金像獎頒獎典禮完滿閉幕，《The King's Speech》奪得壓軸的最佳電影大獎。

《The King's Speech》在今屆奧斯卡共獲得12項提名，是今屆最多，結果一共得到4個獎項，包括最佳電影、最佳導演、最佳男主角、最佳原創劇本。

不過，《Inception》亦獲得4個獎，在數目上與《The King's Speech》一樣，包括最佳攝影、最佳視覺效果、最佳音效剪輯、最佳音響效果。

另一話題影片《The Social Network》，則獲得3個獎項，分別是最佳改編劇本、最佳電影剪輯、最佳電影配樂。
